Daniel Long is passionate about helping the Church think critically about Scripture and worship. In addition to writing for Authentic Worship he serves as minister of music and worship to First Baptist Church of King, in King, NC. He also serves on the Committee for Convention Planning for the Baptist State Convention of NC.
Daniel is married to Joy (B.A. in Biology & Chemistry) and together they homeschool their six children. Their homeschooling philosophy is a blend of the Charlotte Mason method and the classical Trivium, encompassing instruction in biblical studies, ancient and modern languages, literature, mathematics, sciences and critical thinking.
